Powerful notes app and organizer that helps you gather and organize your information — all in one place. There’s no need to spend time searching for your notes anymore. Create text notes, scan documents and make to-do lists. Synchronize it all with Nimbus Note for future viewing and editing on other devices.

Conveniently manage your notes

- Create notes in the editor with formatting support — bold, strike, underline, etc.
- Add pictures, audio, video, documents, and other types of files.
- Scan and digitise any paper documents and pictures using the camera device. The text recognition feature will let you work with scanned files as well as regular notes.

Organize your notes

- Workspaces - separate personal information from the work-related kind. Create separate databases of notes (with own folders and tags) for different purposes within a single account;
- Create folders and subfolders;
- Add context to notes using tags;
- Use special color labels to make most relevant notes and folders stand out from the list;
- Add most important notes to Favorites;

Group collaboration on notes

- Invite other people to collaborate on notes;
- Assign editing rights to each participant (admin, can edit, or reading only);

Get complete control over your workflow and daily errands

- Add to-do lists to your notes;
- Set time reminders for your tasks;

Your notes available anywhere, anytime

- All of your notes are available on any of your devices — anytime, anywhere;
- Create a note on your iPhone, add to that note on your Mac, and finish it later in a browser;
- Offline access to your notes.

Document scanner in your phone

- Scan documents, pictures, handwritten notes;
- Auto-define document borders;
- Special filters allow making the document black and white or enhance the colors;

Security

- Nimbus Note is optionally protected with an additional passcode;

Powerful search

- Nimbus Note can search through not only text but also images;
- Search for text in docs/xls/html/ppt and pdf files;
- The unique search snippets will let you see the required text fragment without opening the note itself;
- You can find entire words as well as word fragments (for example, the search will find "conscious" in "consciousness");

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Also Available Nimbus Pro:

- 1 GB of new uploads each month;
- Large attached files;
- Premium support;
- More information in every note;
- Searching for text in images;

Pros and cons of Nimbus Note app for iPhone and iPad

Nimbus Note app good for

This app works like a charm Great for school syncs up anywhere I would really benefit from iPad support
Im really happy about the last update fixing the complaint I had with issues with paragraph breaks, however a new problem has arisen where the last 2-3 lines of a note are hidden under the keyboard whenever I open it. Also, it says the editor has been "improved", but it doesnt seem to be there at all anymore. I still wish sorting options were saved or you could chose a default sorting option, but you still very much deserve four stars for the clean, simple layout and the quick fix for the issue I was having, which is much more than many other apps Ive used.

Some bad moments

I like the concept and I would have switched apps in a heartbeat if it didnt have a lot of problems. For starters I cannot paste notes from a different app which is annoying. I can past them on the subject header, but not the body of the page. Also, I would to have the opportunity to make lists. So maybe when you tap on the make a new note an option to make lists would be great. I would like to see an option to be able to classify certain notes as important and there be an option to show all important notes as the very first notes when you go into the app.
A note app that doesnt allow you to copy and paste in the note body. Wow. Worst design flaw ever. Youre a note app. Copy and paste should be a given. You can paste in the title...not in the body. Also, absurd to not have dropbox sync. I dont want to use some unknown server of yours. Just let me use dropbox. Great design. Horrible execution.
This app has some great potential, but the lack of some functions is really frustrating. For example, you cannot copy and paste information into the notes area for starters. The search doesnt allow you to search within the notes or to-do list which would be super handy if you tend to take a lot of notes and have to-do list but dont accurately label each of them or frequently create duplicates. Being able to create labels/tags and folders for organization is helpful. I enjoy the layout and the way the app alphabetizes your notes by title - however - it would be great if you could rate them in importance and be able to toggle between a few different organizational viewing options. Perhaps that is asking a lot! But I hope an update to make the app better is in the near future!
Beautifully designed and well thought out. Love the fact that there are to do lists available within the note. When I click on image within a note I wish that the image would isolate from the note and I could pinch to zoom in. Maybe even a gallery view where I could swipe through all the images within the note.
 I love this a lot- the only reason I dont give it a 5 is because its slow, which doesnt mesh well with my high-speed thinking process (anyone with ADHD will understand that Im not being But aside from that, NN is wonderful :D Very easy to comprehend and organize, neatly and without difficulty. Downsides considered, great extension/app
i love this because i can remember everything now! THX TO Nimbus Note!
